First-Year Service Package
The RMB 10,000 First-Year Service Package applies to students admitted through Divine Consultants and is charged once in the first year only.
It covers admission and application services, documentation and visa support, insurance arrangements, pre-departure assistance, airport pickup, university registration and settlement support, administrative coordination, and related professional services.
The service package does not repeat from the second year. University fees and other applicable expenses remain subject to current university policies.
Additional Fees
Textbooks, meals, medical expenses, utilities, internet, medical insurance, residence-permit/visa-extension charges and other applicable expenses are paid separately according to actual university and regulatory requirements.
Admission Requirements
Applicants should generally meet the following requirements:
- Non-Chinese citizen with a valid foreign passport
- 18–25 years old
- High school graduate or above
- High school GPA ≥3.0/4.0 or equivalent
- High school subjects must include Physics/Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry
- Physically and mentally healthy
- Good conduct and no criminal record
- Meet applicable English-language requirements
- Complete the required application documents
For non-native English speakers, GMU currently accepts IELTS ≥6.0, TOEFL ≥85, Duolingo ≥115, or qualifying proof of English-medium high-school education according to its 2026 admission rules.
Clinical Training
The six-year MBBS curriculum combines Chinese culture and language education, basic medical sciences and comprehensive clinical medicine education.
Clinical subjects include Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Stomatology, Anaesthesiology, Emergency Medicine and other medical disciplines.
The program includes one year of hospital internship, providing students with structured practical clinical experience.
Recognition
Guangzhou Medical University is authorized by the Ministry of Education of China to recruit international students for its English-medium Clinical Medicine/MBBS program.
The university is also listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS) and appears among medical schools eligible under the ECFMG 2027 Pathways (Pathway 3).
